Jan 23, 2014· Got a question....not that I''m interested in doing either one but had a chat with a friend about "smoothing out" the actions on revolvers (I guess on semi''s as well) by brushing on a coat of either toothpaste or fine valve grinding compound all over the working parts of a handgun and then dry firing a lot and then doing a really complete clean and re lube.
