Aug 01, 2010· I have a 1942 vintage Kearney and Trecker 2H horizontal mill with a universal vertical head. The horizontal taper is 50 NMTB, and the vertical is 40 NMTB, so the tooling is not interchangeable. I am extremely pleased with it, except that it does not have a quill, so I just move the table up and down instead of plunging a quill.
