Kesoram Industries Ltd is a 9 decade old company incorporated in 1919 as Kesoram Cotton Mills, subsequently renamed as Kesoram Industries in 1986. It got into cement manufacturing in 1969 at its first plant in Basant Nagar in Karimnagar District of Andhra Pradesh. Another plant at Sedam was set up in 1986 at Sedam near Gulbarga in Karnataka.
